Mission:
The St. Mark’s School Foundation is in place to ensure that quality, affordable Catholic education is available to this and future generations.
The foundation invests and manages funds raised through endowments, grants, bequests and cash donations. Interest revenue from these funds will offset rising costs, keeping tuition at affordable levels and providing scholarships, technology and facility upgrades.
For the past six years the Foundation has funded a Marketing/Development position for the school. They have also sponsored a golf tournament for the past nine years, with all of the proceeds going to tuition assistance. In 2008, when the middle school was built, the Foundation agreed to pay $5000 per year for 5 years to help retire the building debt. Through the efforts of both the foundation and the home and school association, no capital campaign was needed to raise funds to complete the construction.
The foundation, through the work of the development/marketing position, sponsors the Be and Angel Adopt a Student program, as well as the Grandparents Pride Club.
