Lisa Cooper grew up in Tillamook, Oregon. Along with her 4 brothers and sisters, her mom would drive an hour and a half every weekend for private lessons and orchestra rehearsals. Lisa started cello when she was 4 and piano when she was 7. By the age of 16 she was a soloist with the Oregon Symphony. Lisa received a full scholarship to the University of Oregon where she holds a Degree in Music. She has performed with Dave Brubeck, Susan Anton, Captain & Tennille, Roger Williams, Rosemary Clooney, and Bill Conti- who wrote the Theme to Rocky.

Lisa currently teaches K-12 music between St. Mark's School and Bishop Kelly High School, and has several private students in her studio. She has been a member of the Boise Philharmonic for 16 years and has also played with the Boise Baroque Orchestra and the Opera. Lisa has been married for 30 years and has 4 beautiful children ranging from 12-27. Her favorite things to do are walking, biking and traveling with her family.
